Bose FreeSpace DS 100F Loudspeakers Provide Sound Upgrade in VIP Suite Renovations at Gillette Stadium

Management at Foxborough, Massachusetts' Gillette Stadium, home of the New England Patriots and New England Revolution, recently undertook phase one of an extensive renovation project for the venue's 89 suites. New receivers and TV monitors, better user control, and Bluetooth compatibility were goals for the new setup, but perhaps first and foremost was the audio. Numerous FreeSpace DS 100F loudspeakers from Bose Professional now grace each renovated suite.

"We are in the process of upgrading all of our suites in order to improve and enhance the experience for our suite holders and their guests," said Jim Nolan, senior vice president of finance, administration, and operations for the Patriots' organization. "This involved floor-to-ceiling renovations, including all new furniture, flooring, wall treatments and décor, televisions, and a complete A/V upgrade for each suite. And very simply, when we think audio, we think Bose."

"Bose was kind enough to meet with us and explore some options," added Nolan. "We are thrilled with our final selections. The sound quality is incredible. You feel so much closer to the action. Bose is the industry leader and we are proud to provide our patrons with such immersive audio."

A major goal of the renovations was to give suite visitors control over their experience, and touch pads act as the control centers for each room. Nolan stated, "With the touch pad control, we will give our guests choices as to what they would prefer to hear. They can listen to the stadium public address announcer or the audio from the televisions. We've made them Bluetooth enabled so that if somebody wants to play music off their smartphone in the suite, it gives them that option, too. We think it will be a lot of fun for our suite holders and a great way to entertain their guests. Everyone is thrilled with the addition of Bose audio. The installation was easy and met our deadline. We couldn't be more pleased with their performance!"
