New CM-ET Prostar VS Provides Variable Speed with Precision Control

CM-ET Prostar VS electric chain motor

Whether the user needs to quickly change out a set during a performance or remove heavy equipment from road cases, the CM-ET Prostar VS is the ideal electric chain motor. New from Columbus McKinnon Corporation, a designer, manufacturer, and marketer of material handling products, systems, and services, the Prostar VS provides precision control, fast lifting speeds, and quiet operation -- all in a compact and portable design. This motor is specifically designed for the needs of the entertainment market.

"Variable speed capabilities allow the operator to quickly configure the Prostar VS to the application," said Ken Tilson, vertical market specialist -- entertainment. "Our easy-to-use interface allows for adjustment of the chain motor's operating speed and motor performance right on the spot for ultimate flexibility and versatility."

The Prostar VS is available in capacities ranging from 250 to 1,100 lbs. with standard lifts of 10' and speeds up to 63' per minute. It features an H4 plus duty cycle and thermally protected motor for best-in-class performance. It's easy to maintain and features standard overload protection for added safety. In addition to variable speeds, the Prostar VS features smooth swiveling hooks that help ensure easy hook attachment and load positioning.

To see the new Prostar VS in action, visit booth #10936 at the 2018 NAMM Show in Anaheim, California, January 25 - 28.
