ESP Vision Releases Vectorworks 2013 Plugins for Windows and Mac OSX Systems

Modeling plugins for use with Vectorworks Spotlight 2013 on Windows and Mac OSX operating systems are now available from ESP Vision. As the 3D community continues to demand the highest level of product functionality, ESP Vision maintains its commitment to providing integration with the complete and latest offerings of Vectorworks software.

Vectorworks Spotlight is the only lighting-specific modeling program that currently is available on both Windows and Mac environments. As many lighting designers use both platforms of Vectorworks, Vision plugins were developed to allow the creation of Vision data files using Vectorworks Spotlight 2013 running on the PC and Mac. Included in this release is also compliance testing against the latest MAC OSX, Mountain Lion (10.8.x).

"Because Vectorworks and Vision create the only combination of industry-leading modeling and pre-viz software that operates natively and interchangeably on both Windows and MAC operating systems, our joint customers enjoy a level of ease and inter-operablity that no one else can provide," says Alan "AJ" Jesse, director of product marketing and support for ESP Vision. "We are proud to be aligned with Vectorworks and of the benefits that our joint customers enjoy as a result of our partnership."

According to Jeremy Powell, director of product marketing for Nemetschek Vectorworks, Inc., "We've had a good relationship with ESP Vision for over six years now. The latest update of the ESP Vision plugins for Vectorworks Spotlight 2013 is the most comprehensive integration to date by any pre-visualization product, giving users the ability to seamlessly use our best-in-class lighting design software with ESP Vision's best-in-class lighting pre-visualization software."

ESP Vision supports the latest two releases of Vectorworks. Therefore, concurrent with this announcement, ESP Vision says it will no longer maintain support for Vectorworks 2011.
