Behind the Scenes Welcomes New Board Member Laura Hoepker Behind the Scenes announces the appointment of Laura Hoepker to its board of directors. Hoepker brings with her more than 30 years of experience in the entertainment technology industry, including leadership roles in sales, marketing, events, and membership services. She has been actively involved with Behind the Scenes since its inception. Hoepker most recently served as the program manager for membership and events at ESTA from August 2021 through her retirement in May 2025, leaving behind a legacy of service and community building. Prior to her time at ESTA, she worked as the marketing events specialist at Electronic Theatre Controls, Inc. and as the events manager at FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology). Behind the Scenes' board chair, Rick Rudolph, states, "We are thrilled to welcome Laura to the board. Her deep industry knowledge and her unwavering commitment to supporting entertainment professionals make her an invaluable addition to our team." Hoepker adds, "I'm honored to join the board and continue supporting an industry and community that has meant so much to me throughout my career."
