Atlona Appoints James Lopez as Senior Director of Product Management

Atlona, an AV distribution solutions provider, announces the appointment of James Lopez as senior director of product management. Reporting to Michael Khain, Atlona's co-founder and vice president of engineering and product development, Lopez will be responsible for managing the ongoing development of Atlona's complete portfolio of distribution and connectivity solutions.

"He brings a strong background and deep expertise in product management and marketing, operations, and hardware/software development to his new role -- all of which will be great assets as Atlona continues on its strong growth path."

Prior to joining Atlona, Lopez held various product marketing and management positions at Logitech, most recently serving as general manager of the company's digital video surveillance business unit. In that role, he was responsible for the company's Alert line of digital video surveillance IP cameras, software, apps, and services, which won an Edison Award for innovation and an American Business Award for New Product or Service of the Year - Consumer Products. Before working at Logitech, Lopez served in several product management positions at Electronics for Imaging, Inc. He holds a degree in electrical engineering and computer science from the University of California, Berkeley.
