1 Sound to Launch Contour CT212 at InfoComm 2023New Jersey-based audio manufacturer 1 SOUND will launch the Contour CT212 loudspeaker at InfoComm, taking place at Orange Country Convention Center in Orlando, June 14 - 16. The Contour CT212 is a horn-loaded three-way passive loudspeaker capable of delivering a maximum SPL of 145dB. The company describes it as a powerful speaker that sounds full and present, yet intimate at lower volumes. The unit combines two 12" low-frequency drivers and a coaxial 4" + 2" mid-high compression driver in a horn-loaded point source enclosure. It delivers a controlled 100° by 50° dispersion, maintaining constant directivity down to 200Hz, with a bass response down to 55Hz. It is a long-throw point source that maintains its directionality in the far field. With various rigging options, it is designed for medium- to large-scale installations and live production audio; examples of likely uses might include amplifying a band in a 700-seat theatre or serving as an installed dance club audio system. The CT212 is IP55-rated and saltwater-resistant, with stainless-steel accessories available. 1 Sound will exhibit in booth 5669 and in demo room W221A. Attendees are invited to make an appointment with Michael Wolk, director of sales, at Michael@1-sound.com.
