cavlo to Introduce Hands-On Product Evaluation Experience at Seattle Tech Expo

cavlo is introducing a new feature at this year's cavlo Seattle Tech Expo, giving attendees an entirely new way to experience AV technology. Debuting October 21-22 at the Lynnwood Event Center, cavlo Compares is a hands-on product evaluation experience designed to help integrators, consultants, end users and technology professionals compare similar technologies in a neutral environment and determine which solutions best fit their own applications.

Developed in partnership with Coherent Design, cavlo Compares moves beyond traditional product demonstrations by allowing attendees to interact with multiple solutions within the same product category, all under the same conditions, so they can evaluate products based on their own priorities and project requirements.

Unlike product competitions or "shootouts," cavlo Compares is intentionally designed to eliminate winners and losers.

"The cavlo team and Coherent Design have developed a process that will deliver attendees and exhibitors alike a straightforward opportunity to evaluate gear for their own applications. This isn't a contest or a competition, just a great opportunity for dealers and end users alike to check out gear in person," says cavlo show director, Mike Brown-Cestero. Coherent Design will oversee the on-site evaluation process to ensure every participating manufacturer is presented fairly and consistently. Products will be displayed using standardized conditions, allowing attendees to compare features, performance, usability and functionality without influence.

"The goal of cavlo Compares is to create a level playing field where attendees can spend meaningful time with each product and make informed decisions based on their own needs," says Kevin Potts, managing principal of Coherent Design. "We're not telling people what's best, we're simply creating an environment where they can experience the differences for themselves."

The inaugural cavlo Compares will feature a high-demand commercial AV category: PoE-powered, Dante-enabled surface mount speakers.

Each participating product will include clear identification, including manufacturer, model and key specifications. Manufacturers are not required to exhibit at cavlo Seattle to participate in cavlo Compares, although exhibiting manufacturers will receive the added opportunity to introduce their product with a brief two-minute presentation before each evaluation session. Participation is curated by cavlo to ensure a balanced and valuable experience for attendees.

As regional technology events continue to grow in popularity, cavlo remains focused on creating experiences that emphasize education, accessibility and practical product discovery.

"At cavlo, we've always believed the best technology decisions are made through experience, not marketing brochures," adds Brown-Cestero. "cavlo Compares gives dealers, consultants and end users the opportunity to explore products firsthand, ask questions and determine which solutions are right for their customers."

The cavlo Seattle Tech Expo takes place October 21-22, at the Lynnwood Event Center in Seattle, Washington, bringing together manufacturers, integrators, consultants, end users and technology professionals for two days of hands-on demonstrations, networking, education, and product exploration.
