Chauvet Professional to Exhibit at USITT Conference & Stage Expo

Chauvet Professional's COLORado 1 Quad Tour

Chauvet, a manufacturer of professional lighting, will showcase various fixtures fitted for stage and theatre at the USITT Annual Conference & Stage Expo, March 21-23, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The Chauvet Professional brand will display the Ovation series of theatrical luminaires at booth 130, next to wash lights from the COLORado series. As a sponsor of the opening party Chauvet Professional fixtures will also light the festivities. In addition to getting a firsthand look at the Chauvet Professional line of theatrical fixtures in the booth, attendees will have the opportunity to experience Ovation E-190WW ellipsoidal-style luminaire in the innovation gallery and in the Light Lab. Chauvet Professional will also participate in the "Incandescent Profile versus LED Profile" session conducted by presenters Hideaki Tsutsui, Steve Shelley, and Richard Cadena.

Chauvet Professional Ovation E-190WW and Ovation F-165WW luminaires are designed specifically for theatee and stage. Powered by 19 10W LEDs, Ovation E-190WW -- styled after the ellipsoidal spot fixtures -- delivers over 3,446 lux at five meters (using the 26-degree lens tube). Ovation E-190WW has standard beam shaping shutters, separate gobo and effect slots, and lens barrels that are interchangeable with other ERS fixtures. Ovation E-190WW has a color temperature of 3,100K, a beautiful flat field, a 16-bit dimming curve, allowing for smooth fades at the lowest levels. Powered by 16 10W LEDs, Ovation F-165WW -- the line's Fresnel-style fixture -- delivers over 1,730 lux at five meters (13 degrees) without a significant temperature-related drop off, the company says. The fixture has an easily adjustable motorized zoom and works exceptionally well with barn doors to aid in glare reduction and beam shaping. Knobs for local control of both dimming and zoom enable fast focus calls with or without a board-op. Its innovative LED source produces smooth, even washes from 9- to 52-degrees with a color temperature of 3,100K and a beautiful soft field. Selectable dimming curves make it compatible with older, traditional theatre Fresnel lights. Sixteen-bit dimming allows for precise level control and dimming to levels below 1%.

Chauvet Professional COLORado 2 Zoom Tour has 61 three-watt Cree LEDs -- red, green, blue, and white -- for output and color mixing capabilities, from intense hues to subtle pastels. A 6- to 35-degree flexible zoom precisely sizes the pool of light, while built-in color temperature presets from 3,200K to 10,000K constantly provide predictable color. The company says this silent and flicker-free fixture can be used with confidence in noise-sensitive environments and on camera. Quick and safe setup is due to direct three- and five-pin DMX in/out and Neutrik powerCON in/out connectors.

Chauvet Professional COLORado 1-Quad Tour features a robust casing that houses seven 10W RGBW quad-colored LEDs for an overall boost in color output. Built-in color temperature presets from 3,200K to 10,000K provide precise color temperature, while five distinct dimming curves give the ability to simulate incandescent lighting. With an even 11-degree beam angle, according to the company, COLORado 1-Quad Tour punches through the brightest of stage washes and can be used in noise-sensitive environments and on camera. Floor and truss mounting is easy with the split yoke bracket, and setup is quick and safe due to direct three- and five-pin DMX in/out and Neutrik powerCON in/out connectors.

Chauvet Professional COLORado Zoom WW Tour features 30 warm white and seven cool white LEDs, for a variable warm white output and a color temperature of 3,800K at full output. This fixture makes for a flexible addition to any lighting rig, due to its electronic 12- to 44-degree zoom. COLORado Zoom WW Tour intermixes well with existing incandescent or tungsten wash lights and boasts a self-cooling, rugged aluminum housing, as well as five dimming curves, secure Neutrik powerCON in-and-out and direct three- and five-pin DMX connectors. COLORado Zoom WW Tour also includes a built-in gel frame holder.
