HK Audio Launches Two New Product Families: LUNAR and PORTABLE SUBWith the simultaneous launch of the new LUNAR and PORTABLE SUB families, HK Audio is introducing sound reinforcement solutions that combine high performance with intuitive operation and a well-thought-out system concept. The families will be featured at InfoComm 2026. The LUNAR series comprises three versatile, high-performance loudspeakers with 10", 12", and 15" woofers. These can be flexibly deployed as full-range systems, monitors or as mid/high-units in combination with subwoofers from the PORTABLE SUB series. PORTABLE SUB consists of two subwoofers with 15" and 18" drivers. These are not only tailor-made for LUNAR but also work perfectly with the HK Audio POLAR MK2 and SONAR systems. Both series have been developed independently, and each meets the specific requirements expected for professional use. While the systems perform impeccably individually, the company says, they are precisely matched to one another and realize their full potential when used together. This is said to create a flexible and easy-to-use complete system. With the new LUNAR series, HK Audio is targeting users who want to combine sound quality with maximum ease of use. Designed for DJs, live performers and professional PA setups, LUNAR delivers impressive results straight away, without complex configuration. At its heart is a deliberately streamlined operating concept. Predefined presets provide direct access to optimally tuned sound settings for various applications such as music, monitor or voice. This ensures a quick setup and smooth operation during use and keeps the focus on the performance at all times. A 32-bit DSP with FIR filter and phase correction ensures precise, dynamic reproduction with high impact, even at high volumes. Flexible connectivity options, including Bluetooth True Wireless Stereo, also allow for easy integration of a wide variety of signal sources. The new PORTABLE SUB series enhances modern loudspeaker systems with a precisely controlled low-frequency foundation. It serves as the logical complement to the LUNAR series, but it is well matched to existing HK Audio systems such as the POLAR MK2 and SONAR. This gives the series a clear strength, the company says -- maximum compatibility within the HK Audio system ecosystem, combined with simple, reliable operation. PORTABLE SUB is based on a preset concept. Specially developed presets for the respective HK Audio series ensure precisely tuned, phase-stable interaction at the touch of a button. A general preset also allows the subwoofers to be easily combined with loudspeakers from other manufacturers. With 1,400 W of peak power and a maximum sound pressure level of 131dB, the models deliver powerful, well-defined bass. The integrated DSP technology ensures precise impulse response and reliable performance, even at high volumes. An integrated stereo preamp enables the simple setup of 2.1 systems, while practical features such as flexible connection options and well-designed controls make everyday use easier. Like the LUNAR series, the PORTABLE SUB models are manufactured in Germany. InfoComm 2026 takes place at the Las Vegas Convention Center, June 13-19.
