D.A.S. Audio to Showcase New Convert and Aero-40 Loudspeaker Systems During Winter NAMM

D.A.S. Audio, a manufacturer of loudspeaker systems for the most demanding sound reinforcement applications, announces that during Winter NAMM in Anaheim, CA, the company will feature the new Convert 15A powered multifunction loudspeaker system with variable dispersion and the new SX-218A subwoofers as the main sound reinforcement system on the Venue stage -- located just outside the arena adjacent to Hall A. These new loudspeakers -- part of D.A.S. Audio's Convert Series -- will be central to all activities that take place on the stage. Equally notable, the company will introduce its new Aero 40 line array system.

At 4pm on Thursday, January 24, opening day of Winter NAMM 2013, D.A.S. Audio will unveil the new Aero 40 line array system at its booth, #7101 (between Hall A and the arena). Part of the Aero Series 2 product line, the new Aero 40 is a mid-size, powered line array system utilizing 12" and six-inch transducers for the low and mid frequencies respectively plus dual compression drivers for the highs. D.A.S. Audio encourages members of the press and those with an interest in live sound reinforcement to attend this new product unveiling.

D.A.S. Audio's new Convert 15A powered multifunction loudspeaker system and the SX-218A subwoofer will be used for all sound reinforcement on the Venue stage throughout Winter NAMM. The new Convert 15A arrayable loudspeaker is a powered, multi-function system incorporating a series of breakthrough features that offer an unmatched level of versatility. The Convert 15A features an innovative system that provides user-definable dispersion characteristics -- enabling the system to be deployed as either a curved source array or used individually as a point source.

The new SX-218A subwoofer is a powered, front-loaded sub bass enclosure. This loudspeaker system incorporates dual 18" LF transducers and is driven by an 1,800W RMS integrated power amplifier. For easy transport, the enclosure has two casters mounted on the rear of the enclosure. Together, the D.A.S. Audio Convert 15A powered multifunction loudspeaker system and SX-218A subwoofer make a versatile live sound reinforcement system capable of delivering robust music reproduction characteristics and first-class speech intelligibility.
