W-DMX to Celebrate 100,000 Unit Sales with Vodka and Meatballs

< b>Wireless Solution Sweden AB is celebrating sales of 100,000 W-DMX units during PLASA 2011 (September 11-14, Earls Court, London) in typical Swedish style, with a vodka and meatball party. Visitors can join the celebration at Stand 2-R13 in the White Light Zone on Monday, September 12 at 3pm.

Before the party, you can join Wireless Solution at the Wireless University seminar, on Monday September 12, 1:30 - 2:15pm in the Whitehall Room, Earls Court 2. The seminar aims to educate the industry on the technology and benefits of wireless DMX. For free registration, got to the URL listed below.

On display at the stand will be the W-DMX Generation 4 product line and the W-DMX BlueBox RDM Controller, a PC based DMX and RDM controller for controlling large rigs of RDM-enabled products. It allows users to search for any RDM-enabled product in a DMX/RDM network, automatically patch and control the fixture, receive status updates, and configure settings such as fixture mode, lamp on/off, and more. Bluebox works with the W-DMX G4 range and will automatically search for and find any G4 transmitters and RDM-enabled G4 receivers. Signal strength and wireless channels are displayed, plus configuration options such as signal power, transmitter/receiver pairing, and compatibility modes.

The G4 product line not only repairs corrupted data and vouches for maximum security by running on dual band, it includes adaptive frequency hopping technology to avoid interference from Wi-Fi, Intercom and other radio products, W-DMX invisi-wire and data-safe technologies for unparalleled fidelity, and support of RDM so units can be configured remotely with no fuss or cables. The company says that W-DMX G4 is the only product on the market to support the 5.8GHz band as standard, ensuring that even if the 2.4GHz band becomes too crowded with other users, your lighting control remains rock solid. It also says that G4 has the highest output power, up to 800mW on 2.45GHz and 1,000mW on 5.8GHz.

Niclas Arvidsson, CEO of Wireless Solution, says, "We are so proud to celebrate 100,000 unit sales during PLASA. It definitely shows industry-wide confidence in our product, and we will continue to deliver the best products possible. We are looking forward to showing our new G4 BlueBox and offering our educational seminar. And of course, sharing our Swedish hospitality to celebrate this occasion!"
