ADJ Announces New Products for NAMM 2015

ADJ's DMX Operator 384, Mega PAR Profile, and the COB Cannon Wash will be introduced at NAMM 2015

ADJ will use the 2015 NAMM Show to debut 14 new products, as well as display the 25 products launched at LDI 2014 back in November. The event, which runs in Anaheim, California from January 22-25, 2015, will feature an impressive ADJ booth that will show the different ranges of products offered by the company, serving lighting users at all levels. The ADJ team is keeping some surprises to unveil at the show, but details of three of the new products that will debut at NAMM 2015 can now be exclusively revealed.

The first product is the COB Cannon Wash; an ultra-bright PAR Can wash effect that utilizes a 150W quad-color (RGBA) COB LEDs for an improved color mixing palette and warm-white stage lighting. The fixture offers an extremely wide 80-degree beam angle, for far-reaching washes, but it can be reduced to 40- and 50-degree beam angles using the included lenses adding to the unit's flexibility. As well as being a high-output wash fixture, the COB Cannon Wash also doubles as a powerful up-lighting solution thanks to its dual yoke, which allows it to stand on the floor to wash walls and ceilings for ultimate flexibility. Plus, having an eight-channel DMX mode, stand-alone mode, and sound-active mode, the COB Cannon Wash can be pixel-mapped too; allowing users to create spellbinding pixel effects across multiple fixtures capable of mesmerizing audiences.

Also on display at NAMM 2015 will be the Mega Par Profile Plus, which builds on previous multi-LED par fixtures, such as the Mega Par Profile, by offering an added UV LED for unique two-in-one effects. With its lie-flat design and 30-degree beam angle, the compact, low-profile PAR has been designed by ADJ specifically for up-lighting, truss warming, and stage lighting. Furthermore, its distinctive RGB color effects can also be infused with a 3W UV black light, allowing users to tailor the fixture to any event, where the company says, sometimes the ability to add UV effects can take a light show from average to awesome!

The third of ADJ's exciting new products is the DMX Operator 384; a compact, but powerful, 19" rack mount DMX controller that is MIDI compatible. Despite its affordable price and portable size, the new controller packs in a range of features to give users control of up to 12 fixtures, each with up to 32 DMX channels (384 channels total); access to 240 programmable scenes across 30 banks; and 12 programmable chases. An assignable joystick is also included, giving users greater flexibility by allowing them to control the positioning of scanners and moving heads more conveniently. For mobile DJs, bands, and small venue operators, the controller also features a fog machine output socket and trigger button, allowing them to trigger an ADJ VF1300 fog machine, as and when they need it, from their convenient position on stage or behind the booth.

"We're incredibly excited to be showcasing our latest products at NAMM 2015," said ADJ USA national sales manager, Alfred Gonzales. "The show is the first big industry event of the year and with 14 new products on display we'll have plenty for visitors to check out; it's the perfect chance for us to give visitors a taste of what to expect from ADJ throughout 2015."

ADJ will exhibit on stand 5774 (in hall B) at NAMM.
