American Music and Sound Poised for Extensive NAMM 2023 Showing

The energetic and engaged crowd at the 2022 AM&S NAMM booth.

American Music and Sound, an Exertis | JAM Business, is getting ready for NAMM 2023 with booths in both the Main and Pro Audio halls, a dedicated loudspeaker demo room, a live sound console training space, and multiple special events throughout the show.

In the Main Hall (Booth 11110), AM&S will showcase products from its Music Creation Division; including CAD Audio, Fostex, Glorious, Hercules, Kurzweil, Nord, PLAYdifferently, Reloop, Studiologic, and XONE. The booth will also feature live performances from renowned keyboardists and live DJs representing multiple brands. "We can't wait for everyone to visit the booth and feel the energy and excitement of AM&S," says Bryan Pistone, vice president of sales, Music Creation Division. "We're looking forward to seeing all our esteemed dealers and manufacturers in person."

A number of top audio brands will make their AM&S NAMM booth debut this year as the company has expanded its distributed brand roster. Etymotic, Lake People, Modal Electronics, Niimbus, Violectric, and Westone Audio will be featured in Booth 11110 in the Main Hall with dedicated interactive product displays. The AM&S sales team will also be on hand to discuss top features and benefits of the world's best-selling audio interface range, Focusrite's Scarlett, alongside other Focusrite premium audio solutions, and Novation's award winning music creation synths, grooveboxes and synths.

Over in the Pro Audio Hall, AM&S will focus on Allen & Heath in Booth 14102. Attendees will have the opportunity to see Allen & Heath's TEC award-nominated Avantis V1.2 feature update in person, as well as the ever-expanding AHM line of installed audio solutions. Always a crowd favorite, a wide range of dLive control surfaces will be ready for hands-on deep dives into console workflows and configuration options as a diverse range of "virtual soundcheck" tracks are streamed to all digital consoles across the show floor.

Live sound mixing training and certification sessions, led by veteran live sound and touring manager Michael Bangs, will cover a range of subjects useful for anyone working in the live sound industry. Presented in ACC Level 2 #209A, different sessions offered throughout the show will focus on dynamics and frequency control, mixing high channel counts on a compact console, quick festival mixing changeovers, house of worship mixing, and modern workflows. A full schedule of training sessions is available on the Allen & Heath NAMM homepage, www.allen-heath.com/namm-2023/. "We are so excited to be a key NAMM 2023 console training partner," says instructor Bangs. "Giving back to the community is an honor and essential for the ongoing quality of our audio world."

Guests who want to hear live demos from AM&S pro audio loudspeaker brands BASSBOSS and (Ocean Way Audio) AeroWave will have plenty of chances to do so, as Demo Room 201D will offer an extended schedule with multiple presentations from both brands throughout the show. "The team is excited to be back in Anaheim, bigger and better than ever!" says Rob Impala, vice president, Pro Audio Division. "Having a booth and a dedicated demo room allows for each brand to tailor a unique experience for its customer and dealer base. Allen & Heath will showcase a wide portfolio of console and networked audio technologies, while BASSBOSS & AeroWave will immerse guests in high-fidelity sound nirvana!"

In addition, AM&S will be hosting several events -- including exclusive artist performances at Nord Night (Thursday, April 13th at 6:30pm, Anaheim Marriott, Grand Ballroom A) and a special "Audio for Worship" event (Friday, April 14 at 5:30pm, Demo Room 201D) featuring live speaker demos and industry experts discussing current issues in House of Worship sound.
