Claypaky at ISE 2024 with Wide Ranging Product Portfolio

Visit Claypaky at ISE 2024, Booth #1D150.

At this year's ISE, Claypaky will be showcasing its recently launched products for first-class entertainment at all kinds of events from touring to theatre productions. Booth #1D150 at Fira Barcelona is where visitors can see and learn about the products and technologies for the entertainment industry. It is also the first time since ARRI' s acquisition of Claypaky, that two companies will be exhibiting together at ISE and presenting even broader portfolio together.

With demand for IP-rated fixtures continuing to grow, Claypaky confirms the primary role of the Shield Family IP66 product range with extraordinary fixtures such as Arolla Aqua and HY B-EYE K15 Aqua. The Shield Family -- which included Skylos, Arolla Aqua, Mini-B Aqua, Xtylos Aqua -- launched a new standard of weather-resistant, high-performance, ultra-durable and long-lasting fixtures. These IP66-certified lights have unique advantages in performance, handling, and use, the company says. Whether used indoors or outdoors, the high level of impenetrability minimizes the need for time and resources spent on maintenance allowing users to fully dedicate themselves to their productions.

Arolla Aqua **FIRST TIME AT ISE** is Claypaky's new weather-resistant light, a truly versatile workhorse IP66 fixture with technical and construction features once unimaginable for this kind of light. It offers high-power and high brightness with top-level performance in a remarkably compact and lightweight package that enables fast pan and tilt movements. The Arolla Aqua fits a custom white 900 W (7,000K) LED light source and is capable of a 40,000-lumen output with a high-quality, uniform light beam, density, and the total absence of spurious lights. This means it can compete with both high-power-range lights (given its output) and medium-power-range lights (given its small size and weight). Go-Bright technology means no light loss or color shift when gobos are inserted into the beam. From high-power to medium-power ranges, Arolla Aqua shines as a versatile solution, the company says.

HY B-EYE K15 Aqua **FIRST TIME AT ISE** is the newest member of the IP66 Shield family. Based on the well-known and unique Claypaky ALEDA B-EYE technology with rotation and pixel-mapping, Aqua boasts true IP66 protection and has been rigorously tested to endure vibration and shock during transportation, extreme temperature fluctuations, impacts from hailstones, electrical stress, harsh surroundings, UV exposure and much more.

Claypaky fixtures for theatrical applications -- Rhapsodya, Sinfonya and Actoris Profile FC -- will also have a prominent place at ISE 2024.

Rhapsodya **FIRST TIME AT ISE** is a high power, low-noise multi-spectral LED-based fixture designed for a variety of applications, including theater, TV production, touring, and live events. It uses a custom 1200W multicolor RGBAL LED engine, is capable of a 24,000-lumen output and offers many exclusive features, such as the Accuframe framing system using two focal planes for better resolution and focusing; Tonedown, which ensures whisper-quiet operation at just 27dB; Absolute Position for advanced pan and tilt control; the Lineguard frost system using two pairs of blades for much higher beam uniformity and truly incremental adjustment of frost levels; and ColorMatch calibration for matching color temperatures to other fixtures when using Claypaky CloudIO software. This technology provides consistency among a variety of fixtures used in a production and offers the potential for storing custom digital color filters onboard.

Rhapsodya incorporates AccuTone, a sophisticated, internally developed firmware algorithm for a precise control over the beam in a multicolor LED engine, providing vibrant, rich colors and a balanced, consistent white, optimized for both stage and TV. COLORSTRING, a new system enabling an individual control of 4 independent LED stripes within the engine for a high level of graphics and color effects.

Sinfonya Profile 600 is a unique, low-noise LED-based moving light that's stylish and packed with technology, offering endless possibilities for designers to utilize a wide variety of features specifically developed for theatrical productions. Sinfonya's multi-color emitter light engine delivers saturated colors at high intensity, and its wide variety of gobos provides lots of options. Quick and responsive, the fixture also boasts framing shutters and a 5-60° zoom range.

Rounding out Claypaky theatrical fixtures is ADB's Actoris Profile FC, a 6-color ellipsoidal with advanced features, especially in terms of color control. The light source of this practical and modular tool is based on an RGBAL + ROYAL BLUE system, which means any desired shade of color can be produced, including an incredible array of pastel hues, with a CRI of up to 97. The algorithm that regulates the color control system is perfectly comparable to that of the Claypaky Sinfonya Profile and Rhapsodya, with advanced, standard, white, and single-channel modes.

Buddylight **FIRST TIME AT ISE** Claypaky's new, quick and easy automated followspot system, will also make its ISE debut. The Buddylight can be used either in an Art-Net or DMX network -- by setting up control priority management with the console -- or in stand-alone mode. The Buddylight marks a further step towards increasing entertainment light automation and is well suited for small theatres, auditoriums, and conference rooms.

When Claypaky introduced Xtylos, the first laser-sourced moving light beam fixture in entertainment lighting, it shaped a new era of moving heads. Today, Claypaky stands as a pioneer and the unrivaled leader with the longest and most advanced expertise in this groundbreaking technology and with the most complete portfolio of fixtures.

Skylos, the newest member of the laser family, is sure to capture attention at ISE as an ultra-versatile and weather-resistant fixture with incredible light output and outstanding construction features. Skylos is much appreciated by the touring sector where LDs are constantly on the lookout for dense, solid beams of light and ever-greater light output. It fits a custom 300W white light laser source, which provides an extremely parallel, uniform beam. With total power consumption of only 600W, the Skylos has the same light output as a 4,000W Xenon lamp. Considering its light output and the size of the front lens, the body of this remarkable light is lightweight and compact. This allows the unit to be moved with relative ease in any environment and to be rigged on trusses for use on tours. Its body is IP66 rated and marine grade to ensure flawless performance in salty surroundings and protect the fixture from corrosion. A sophisticated internal heat-dissipation system designed specifically for this product allows it to work at very low and very high temperatures, while its Solar Shield technology protects the engine and internal components from damage due to sun exposure.
