URTA to Host Zoom Session on Choosing a Graduate SchoolURTA invites all interested parties to a Zoom session all about demystifying the grad school application process, October 28 at 12pm EST. The 90-minute session is free and open to all. The session will share tips for researching professional training programs and things to consider when choosing the best program. Programs range from MFAs to conservatory/certificate programs, so research is key to finding the ideal program. The session will also explain how the URTA auditions and interviews (the URTAs) process works and how it can help streamline the grad school application process. Pre-register to receive the Zoom link HERE. This Zoom session is discussion-based and time will be saved for questions and answers. Note: As this session is meant to be discussion-based, it will NOT be recorded. If you are unable to attend this session, URTA will host additional "All About the URTAs" Zoom sessions throughout the fall. Anyone planning to participate in the 2026 URTAs can find dates and details on the association's website. Early-bird candidate registration pricing for the 2026 URTAs ends on Nov. 23, 2025. In addition, URTA offers free registration to qualified candidates through the candidate awards program. Check out the association's awards page for more information. Candidate awards are application-based, and award applications close November 2.
