4Wall Adds Robe BMFL Blade & WashBeam, Spikie and Spiider to Rental Inventory

4Wall Entertainment continues to expand its lighting inventory by making an investment in Robe Lighting fixtures for its seven locations nationwide.

The latest inventory additions include several moving lights from Robe's Bright Multi-Functional Luminaire (BMFL) line, the BMFL Blade and BMFL WashBeam. Other additions include the Robin Spikie, Spiider, and an increase to the quantity of Robin Pointe fixtures.

"Our recent growth has led to a need for us to further diversify our inventory nationwide," says 4Wall's VP of M&A and product strategy Wes Bailey. "Our customers have expressed a great deal of interest in these new Robe products, which led to this investment."

The BMFL Blade offers four fast, smooth shutter blades that are individually angled and positioned within a frame that can rotate 90°, providing a sharp or soft, precisely repeatable, frame for the projected image. Gobo images can be trimmed or framed in a rectangular, triangular, or trapezoid shapes. Each pair of opposing blades can close for a complete blackout.

The BMFL WashBeam has a rotating gobo wheel with a wide selection of gobos to ensure many combinations of in-air animations, but can also produce nice spot-like projections on surfaces. Like the BMFL Blade, the BMFL WashBeam also has four fast shutter blades that make individually angled positions within a frame possible.

The Robe Robin Spikie is a small, fast LED WashBeam. The fixture is capable of continuous rotation of pan and tilt and quickly zooms from a soft, wide 28° wash to a tight, sharp-edged 4° beam. The dynamic flower effect creates sharp multi-colored spikes of light, rotating in both directions at variable speeds.

The Spiider is a LED wash/beam luminaire that utilizes one 60W RGBW LED multichip in the middle which is surrounded by eighteen 30W RGBW LED multichips in an optical design that resembles a spider web. The fixture has a zoom ranging from a tight 4° beam to a wide 50° wash. The Spiider can also control each RGBW section.
