Green Hippo Adds to the Team

Samantha Bailey, Zep Mouris, Vlad Voina, and Rhian Wellington - Green Hippo

As Green Hippo further expands its company, head of sales Samantha Bailey has been promoted to the new position of vice president of global sales, managing the growing sales team and all aspects of the global commercial strategy.

Bailey started her Green Hippo journey in 2008 working with now head of training Simon Harris to manage the sales of the Hippotizer range and has consistently moved upwards in the company since.

Green Hippo has now expanded its staff from 12 employees to 30. "Since starting at Green Hippo I have firmly believed that Hippotizer is the market-leading media server, and the growth of the company, as well as the continued joy of working with such a great team, means I'm thrilled to have taken on this role."

Bailey's role goes further than looking after specific territories as vice president of global sales, she will now be taking on business strategy and business development responsibilities, making sure that the company weathers this tough climate and continues to grow globally.

Green Hippo also announces that along with their developing range of products, the addition of Zep Mouris and Vlad Voina, software developers, and the company's new product design intern Rhian Wellington.

Mouris, who started at Green Hippo as an intern, has developed his programming skills while working towards finishing his degree and has been a great addition to the team.

Voina joins the team as a graduate from Goldsmiths University with a BSc in creative computing and has shown great enthusiasm working at Green Hippo and in the industry, the company says.

Wellington, a BA industrial design and technology student at Brunel University joined Green Hippo in July, and is working closely with the Hippotizer range. "I wanted to work for Green Hippo because it's a very well-known company that has an excellent reputation for providing media servers to the live event industry. With this in mind, I thought it would be a great opportunity to get involved with their design internship program," Wellington stated.
