LED Source Announces New Director of Sales for Retrofit Division

Andrew LeFevre

LED Source, an LED lighting solutions provider specializing in architectural, entertainment, and retrofit applications, announces its new director of sales for the retrofit division, is Andrew LeFevre.

A graduate of Western Michigan University, LeFevre comes to LED Source after spending more than 15 years in medical sales. Most recently, he worked at a venture capital-backed medical startup, where he earned recognition for consistently exceeding quota for all objectives and turning low-performance territories around.

His past experience gives him extensive strategic selling and sales leadership knowledge, which according to the company will help LED Source grow and adapt to new challenges and opportunities in the coming years.

"LED Source's adaptable corporate environment is leading the way in changing the landscape of traditional lighting culture," said president and CEO Marcel Fairbairn. "Andrew will be instrumental in helping the retrofit division meet and exceed growth projections."

LeFevre added, "I find comfort in the trenches and look forward to assisting with new solutions in this fast-paced and rapidly growing industry."

Founded in 2005, LED Source is North America's first and only franchisor of LED lighting. The company supplies LED products to a variety of spaces, and specializes in design, support, development, project management, and financing through its retrofit, architectural, and entertainment divisions. Applications include commercial office spaces, schools, churches, theaters, art galleries, restaurants and nightclubs, special events, residential and landscape lighting and much more.

LED Source recognized a fast-growing marketplace for LED lighting with boundless potential and as a result launched a franchise program in 2009. The company has opened franchise locations in Eastern Canada; Calgary, AB; Lawrence, Kansas.; Bloomington, Indiana; Wichita, Kansas; Los Angeles, California; Urbandale, Iowa; Austin, Texas; Denver, Colorado; Charlotte, North Carolina; and Tampa, Florida. LED Source is developing in states along the eastern seaboard and expects to add 12-15 franchise locations in 2013. Long-term goals for the company plan for a network of 150 franchise offices throughout North America within three years.
