ER Productions Announces Laserblade 2ER Productions announces the release of Laserblade 2, billed as its most advanced laser array fixture to date. Purpose-built for high-impact touring and installation environments, Laserblade2 is said to combine cutting-edge performance with real-world practicality. Laserblade 2 features eight precision-aligned apertures, each delivering 1W of D65-balanced white output, with an optional 1.7W high-power mode. Controlled via DMX, Art-Net, sACN, and fully RDM-compatible, it's engineered for seamless integration into modern control networks. Built-in Ethernet passthrough safeguards signal continuity, even in the event of fixture power loss. A motorized 240-degree tilt axis, guided by absolute encoders, ensures instant readiness with no homing required. With hardware tilt limiters and configurable software dead zones, operators can define no-go areas for laser output which keeps audiences, scenic elements, and crew safe at all times. Fast, frustration-free rigging is standard, the company says, with dual Omega brackets and eight quarter-turn cam-loc fasteners, while Neutrik locking connectors and daisy-chaining simplify power and signal runs. Laserblade 2 also boasts a 3.2" full-color touchscreen for local control, diagnostics, and access to a dynamic library of built-in gobos and effects macros. "This is everything we've learned about laser fixture design wrapped into one rugged, reliable, and powerful package," says Ryan Hagan, creative director at ER Productions. "Laserblade 2 isn't just a product, it's a professional tool built for the demands of today's shows." To see this laser in action, check out www.youtube.com/watch?v=k-RbvZTLPyA.
