New InFocus Projectors Bring Bright HD to Large Venues

IN5310a Series projectors are bright and flexible for professional installations

InFocus Corporation released a new family of large-venue, professional installation projectors, the IN5310a series, to deliver very bright image and flexible projection options to large classrooms and houses of worship, at a value. The DLP IN5310a series, which consists of the 6000-lumen IN5312a and the 1080p IN5316HDa, provides a range of features, connectivity, lenses, and has small form factor to suit most large spaces.

"Projecting high-quality images in big spaces isn't easy for many organizations, especially when they are on a budget but want high-quality HD and 3D picture. That's exactly where our new IN5310a projectors fit," said Dave Duncan, InFocus product manager. "Whether you want to show a piece of digital artwork to 100 students from the back of a lecture hall or an HD video to a church congregation from close up, these projectors deliver the beautiful images people want with the flexibility, connectivity, and affordability they need."

InFocus designed the IN5310a series projectors to be flexible to fit the needs of a wide range of environments. Each device includes a standard lens and has optional, interchangeable short throw and long throw lenses. They are rated to be on 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with no filters to clean or replace. The projectors offer flexibility with multiple connectivity ports including HDMI, DisplayPort, DVI-D, VGA, and five BNC inputs. Both projectors have an RS232c port and an RJ45 port to enable monitoring and control over a network. Additionally, both are ready for 3D content from PCs, Blu-ray, cable boxes, and come equipped with a 3D Sync Port for use with 3D IR emitters.

The IN5312a and the IN5316HDa differ only in lumen count and resolution. The IN5312a delivers 6,000 lumens and XGA (1024 x 768) resolution while the IN5316HDa provides 5,000 lumens with native 1080p high-definition (1920 x 1080) resolution. The high lumen counts enable people to project crisp, bright images even in rooms where lighting is still needed.

The InFocus IN5310a series projectors can be purchased directly from InFocus or through an authorized InFocus reseller.
