Record industry luminary, TEC Hall of Fame inductee and one-half of Pensado's Place, the web's most popular pro audio show, Herb Trawick, will join Believe TV as co-host for Thursday, January 21 and Friday, January 22 during Believe in Music week (January 18 - 22). For the two days, Trawick will share the desk, banter, stories, and interviews with NAMM President and CEO Joe Lamond from 9:00am - 5:00pm PT. Review the Believe TV schedule.

"Herb has that special gift of making everyone feel like they've been friends all their lives. That, combined with his encyclopedic knowledge of gear and the people who drive the industry makes him the perfect person to lead Believe in Music TV. There will certainly be a couple of days where I just shake my head and laugh at how lucky I am to get to do this kind of stuff," shares Lamond.

Trawick says, "Joe Lamond's brilliance and the impressive NAMM team are at heart musicians guided by the spirit of music: community, education, technology, resources, and artistry. While their global scale is large, their approach is personal. I couldn't be prouder to get the call."

Trawick is perhaps best known as the co-host and executive producer of Pensado's Place. Each week, audio professionals join Dave Pensado and Trawick to discuss technical tips, the dissection of popular music, and viewers' questions. Together, along with the team, Pensado and Trawick have built Pensado's Place into a global powerhouse of pro audio education with 6 million viewers annually and as a resource curriculum at over 100 colleges and universities.

Before this, Trawick helped launch Brian McKnight into an R&B superstar with 20 million albums sold, global tours, and more than 30 GRAMMY, American Music, Billboard, Emmy, and Image Awards nominations. Trawick was also a partner with Maurice White, the legendary creator of Earth, Wind & Fire, and as a producer, took the EWF catalog to Broadway for the play Hot Feet.

Trawick's long career has also included consultancies with top imprints like Interscope, RCA, Mercury, Capitol, Motown, Island, and Def Jam, while creative shops like the 1500 Sound Academy, The Blackbird Academy, and Musicians Institute have also tapped Trawick for his expertise.

Believe TV is just one part of Believe in Music week, which will feature a variety of special events and concerts, a Marketplace to experience the latest in new products and technologies, nearly 200 professional development and training sessions for all sectors of the music products, pro audio, and entertainment technology industries, and NAMM Foundation education for music educators and administrators, nonprofit professionals and college-aged students and faculty, among others.
