New Management Roles at ETC

	Durrell Ramer and Mike Meskill, ETC

Durrell Ramer was recently promoted to the role of global customer service and systems manager. He will oversee customer service, quotations, systems project management, applications engineering, and systems drafting for all ETC companies worldwide.

Ramer has been with ETC for more than 20 years and has held a variety of positions during that time. He started his tenure in quotations for the southeast and southwest sales territories and later moved into management. He's held a number of management positions in the technical services and systems department groups.

Durrell majored in communications at Goshen College in Indiana and is known to still bore people with stories of his college radio show. He then went on to earn an MFA in technical theatre production from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and has production experience with a variety of professional companies, including Victory Gardens Theatre, ShennaArts, Madison Reperatory Theatre, and UW Opera. Durrell and his wife Stephanie live in Madison with their two sons and a large red dog.

Mike Meskill is taking on the role of global technical service manager and will oversee the technical phone support, special projects, field service, and repairs departments for all ETC companies worldwide.

Meskill has over 20 years of experience in the ETC technical service department. He started as a field service engineer and became the field service manager in 1998. In 2005 Meskill and his wife Laurel relocated to Holzkirchen, Germany, and he took on the role of European service manager to help with the integration of recently acquired Transtechnik Lighting Systems into ETC. In 2010 ETC Asia was added to his oversight and he became the international service manager. Meskill earned his BFA in technical design and production (lighting) from The University of North Carolina School of the Arts. He has designed shows for a variety of Wisconsin dance companies and worked as the assistant lighting designer for the Madison Opera. While living in Germany, Meskill designed lighting for the first German production of the Vagina Monologs as well as two productions of I, Claudia for BeMe Theatre. Before going to college, Meskill spent four years in the US Navy as an electronics technician.
