Clearwing Productions Adds DiGiCo's SD5 and SD9 Consoles to Rental Inventory

Clearwing Productions' Digico SD5 console

Clearwing Productions announced they have added DiGiCo's SD5 and SD9 consoles to their inventory. Digico has developed a series of software and firmware upgrades for its SD series of consoles that are designed to significantly expand the console's capabilities.

"I haven't mixed in 15 years and have never mixed on a digital console before; yet within five minutes I felt completely at home and comfortable with the SD5. For as complex a machine as it is -- the intuitive, user-friendly architecture allowed me to establish an 'in the pocket' mix in the first song of a festival without anything but a quick line check. And it was sonically exemplary to boot! It just doesn't get better than that." Gregg Brunclik, president and CEO of Clearwing Productions.

The SD5 incorporates Stealth Digital Processing and the same state of the art proprietary mixing technology included in all the new SD model consoles. Originally launched 10 years ago as the D5 Live, the SD5 was reintroduced to the market due to Digico's recent technological advancements. Now, like all consoles in the SD series, its processing capabilities make it very unique.

The powerful SD9 is a complete, integrated system, which includes the mixing surface, a D-Rack digital stage interface and CAT5E digital muticore, and has the ability to simultaneously record 56 channels direct to your multitrack software or DAW. This system boasts audio quality and flexibility on par with the highest level of productions that use Digico SD7, SD8, and D-series consoles, and features third generation Stealth Digital Processing software. It includes Digico's innovations such as snapshots and global scope. The system is also expandable, allowing a second D-Rack to be connected to double the number of inputs and outputs.
