Airworks Acquired by TAIT TAIT has acquired Airworks, maker of air sculptures and scenic inflatable technology. In a statement, the companies say, "The strategic acquisition strengthens TAIT's commitment to delivering unforgettable fan experiences by expanding its creative range and production offerings for renowned global performers and live events with Airworks." Founded in 1978, TAIT has gone beyond the concert touring world to bring its expertise to theme parks, world expos, global theatres, festivals, and other attractions. Founded in 2002, Airworks has supplied its products to global tours, major festivals, and art installations. Concert touring clients have included Fall Out Boy, Green Day, and Muse as well as festivals like Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC), Mysteryland, and Tomorrowland. TAIT and Airworks have already partnered on several tours, including Lady Gaga's The Mayhem Ball Tour, Beyonce's Renaissance Tour, and The Weeknd's After Hours Til Dawn Tour.
