The winners of this year's Outer Critics Circle Awards have been announced.

The Outer Critics Circle's members are affiliated with more than 90 newspapers, magazines, broadcast stations, and online news organizations in America and abroad.

In the design categories, Miriam Beuther, Jamie Harrison, and Chris Fisher won for the shapeshifting scenic design (including illusions and visual effects) for Stranger Things: The First Shadow, a prequel to the popular Netflix series. Also winning for Stranger Things are lighting designer Jon Clark and sound designer Paul Arditti. Gregg Barnes was cited for his costumes -- in black-and-white and color -- for BOOP! The Musical. The video/projections award went to David Bergman for his extensive work on The Picture of Dorian Gray.

Although the OCC Awards take in both Off Broadway and Broadway, this year's design winners are all from Broadway shows.

Multiple winners included the Broadway musical Maybe Happy Ending with four wins and BOOP! and Stranger Things, with three apiece.
