Avolites Sapphire Touch Now Shipping In the United States

Avolites' Sapphire Touch

Creative Stage Lighting, North American distributor of Avolites and Avolites Media, announces that the new Sapphire Touch lighting console is now shipping in the United States.

The first Sapphire Touch was shipped to TERI Productions from Creative Stage Lighting and is already in use. TERI Productions used Sapphire Touch on the two-week Riverbend Festival in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Afterwards it went directly to Vicksburg, Mississippi and was the main console for the Miss Mississippi Scholarship Pageant.

"Programming the console is so much faster and easier with two screens and multiple workspaces open at the same time," notes Jay Coatney of TERI Productions. "There was actually no difference in running a concert on the fly and an actual scripted pageant. This console was perfect for both applications."

Coatney continues, "Since adding this powerful new console to our inventory and having the opportunity to show the console and TITAN platform, many lighting designers have taken an interest in learning the new functionality of Avolites with the TITAN software and are using the console on their own shows."

Avolites Sapphire Touch features two wide screen touch monitors, offering fast programming with a huge workspace. 45 motorized master faders allow smooth operation or automated playback. Avo "sketchfast legends" are fast to draw digitally and easy to locate during showtime. Tricolor optical trackball indicates fixture color or functionality with unique "Saturn Ring" control, giving X, Y, Z axis control simultaneously.

Sapphire Touch and other Avolites lighting consoles are available through Creative Stage Lighting's dealer network.
