Cameo Expands the ZENIT G2 Series with ZENIT W1200 G2 and ZENIT W300 G2With the ZENIT W1200 G2 and ZENIT W300 G2, Cameo is expanding its new ZENIT G2 series with two IP65 LED wash lights for different performance and application classes. Together with the ZENIT W600 G2, which was launched in early 2026, the second generation of ZENIT now comprises three models, from compact 300W lights to powerful 1,200W solutions for large-scale outdoor applications. All three models feature RGBALC LED technology and a design specifically tailored for touring, rental, and professional outdoor productions. The ZENIT W1200 G2 is positioned at the top end of the new series and is a solution for large stages, touring productions, and challenging outdoor and broadcast applications. Its 60 × 50 W RGBALC LEDs produce a luminous flux of up to 45,000 lumens with a power consumption of 1,200W, providing a long range and high output for large-scale wash applications. In combination with the calibrated XColour color mixing technology, the ZENIT W1200 G2 produces a continuous, natural color spectrum with excellent color rendering values (CRI 98, TLCI 95). The vertical segment control also allows for nuanced looks, smooth transitions, and targeted lighting accents, even across large areas. Despite its high performance, the ZENIT W1200 G2 remains firmly geared towards professional touring and outdoor use. Its IP65-rated die-cast magnesium housing facilitates fast and safe rigging thanks to ergonomic handles and optimally positioned safety eyelets. The cooling system, which was developed in Switzerland and has five selectable fan modes, ensures stable operation even under demanding conditions. The ZENIT W300 G2 incorporates the core technologies of the ZENIT G2 series into a very compact and lightweight design. Equipped with 21 × 50 W RGBALC LEDs, a power consumption of 300W and a luminous flux of approx. 14,000 lumens, the IP65 wash light is particularly suitable for setups where low weight, quick handling and flexible application options are crucial. Weighing just 8.9kg, the ZENIT W300 G2 can be transported, rigged, and used in a wide variety of productions in a time- and cost-efficient manner. Nor does this compact fixture compromise on light quality: the ZENIT W300 G2 also uses the precise XColour color mixing system and achieves the same color rendering values as the larger models: CRI 98 and TLCI 95. This makes it suitable not only for live, touring and event productions, but also for applications in the TV and broadcast sectors. In addition to high light output and color quality, Cameo has also prioritized unified workflows in the new ZENIT G2 series. All models are compatible with Cameo CONNECT, can be configured via e.g. NFC, and also integrated into service and firmware processes. In addition, the integrated Legacy Mode enables them to be operated alongside compatible ZENIT G1 models while maintaining consistent colors and looks -- a key advantage for rental companies who want to gradually expand their existing inventory with the new generation. In this context, the mounting hardware from the ZENIT G1 series can also be used with the new ZENIT G2 models. For additional light shaping flexibility, both models are compatible with the optional Cameo SnapMag FX filter. The electronic frost, which can be controlled via DMX, allows quick adjustments of the beam angle directly from the lighting control system. Magnetic diffusers are also available for all three ZENIT G2 models in the variants 60-by-10, 10-by-90, 90-by-10, 45, 25, and 100 degrees. While the existing diffusers from the respective G1 models can still be used with the ZENIT W300 G2 and ZENIT W600 G2, Cameo also offers compatible diffusers for the new ZENIT W1200 G2. The range of accessories is rounded off by a Snapbag Softbox and barndoors with 12 or four leaves. Regardless of individual series availability, the company says, those interested can experience the new ZENIT G2 models now -- the ZENIT W1200 G2 and ZENIT W300 G2 are already available for product demonstrations. Appointments for a personal demonstration can be requested directly via the contact form on the ZENIT G2 website (see link below). The Cameo ZENIT W1200 G2 is available now. The ZENIT W300 G2 will follow in December 2026. The next addition to the ZENIT G2 family, which focuses on mobile operation, is scheduled for January 2027.
