Penn Elcom Inc. Appoints Max Wasinger

Max Wasinger, Penn Elcom

Flight case and speaker component manufacturer Penn Elcom announces the appointment of Max Wasinger as vice president of sales for the AV Racking division of its business in the US.

Based in California, Wasinger will bring his vast experience in consumer electronics, contacts, and enormous energy to the Penn Elcom Inc. team, where he will focus on evolving their industry standard 19" racking technology into a new and refined product range, tailored to commercial and home installation markets.

Wasinger, who previously worked as executive VP sales and marketing at Mitsubishi Electric for six years, is really excited about the new position.

Penn Elcom Inc.'s CEO Phil Stratford comments: "We are extremely fortunate to have someone of Max's caliber on-board. We welcome him and look forward to expanding our brand presence in the commercial and home automation / installation sectors under his leadership."

While at Mitsubishi Electric, Wasinger says he worked closely with numerous key AV industry players, and fully understands the unique nuances of this segment, together with its associated sales and distribution channels and product development, at which, in his own words, he is "relentless at bringing to market."

Wasinger's work at Penn Elcom will include overseeing and coordinating the development of a completely new and innovative line of 19" racking products, initially for the US market, and he says his long term goals include establishing Penn Elcom as the leading AV 19" rack manufacturer in the Americas.

Many positive attributes attracted him to Penn Elcom.

He reports he is "very impressed" with the speed and agility of the set up -- globally as well as specifically in the US -- and their ability to identify and target new opportunities that complement the core operation, in addition to the "vigor and entrepreneurial spirit of the senior management team."

"This incredible can-do attitude, dedication to customer-led needs, and meeting market demands with quality and high standards has made Penn Elcom a leading brand, and one with which I share the same values and visions for the future," he concludes.
