ASG Names Andy Darcy Vice President of System Build and DeliveryAdvanced Systems Group, LLC (ASG) has announced the appointment of Andy Darcy as vice president of system build and delivery. The SI side of ASG has expanded rapidly, driven by an increasing demand for IP-based (ST-2110) broadcast facilities, live production environments, and experiential AV deployments. Darcy's new role will focus on scaling the System Build and Delivery team to meet that demand while improving efficiency, collaboration, and overall client experience. "This new role is really about taking what is a rapidly growing systems integration business at ASG and structuring it for its next evolution," says Darcy. "We're growing the team so we can devote more resources to a better customer experience." Previously chief technical officer, West Coast, Darcy brought experience across systems integration, engineering, and sales leadership to that role. He began his career in systems integration, live sports, newsroom, master control design and buildout. He then moved into global roles supporting integration partners and product management. As VP of system build and delivery, he will oversee operations, project management, and build teams while improving alignment across the team to support its growth. "Systems integration is in Andy's DNA," says Dave Van Hoy, president of ASG. "He understands the technology, the operational challenges, but most importantly, how to align our teams to better serve our clients. This role is about scaling our business in a smart and structured way. Andy is exactly the right person to lead that effort in today's dynamic environment." Darcy will also play a key role in strengthening collaboration between ASG's teams in service of customer experience. "A big part of my role is collaborating across our teams so that teams throughout ASG can discover new opportunities and contribute to our continued growth," he says. "We're also expanding engagement within ASG so that clients enjoy access to the full breadth of ASG's expertise throughout our engagement. "We're creating a more proactive model with options like regular health checks, site visits, and ongoing system support," Darcy explains. "It's about improving the customer experience and helping clients get the most out of their investment long after the initial project is complete." "For me, this new position is a bit like coming home," Darcy concludes. "I started my career in system integration, and I'm excited to jump back in and help shape what's next for ASG and our clients."
