PLASA Focus Proves Itself the Must-See Event for Texas

Busy booths, packed seminars, and a raft of new product launches firmly established PLASA Focus as an unmissable industry event for Texas. A total of 820 attendees, including exhibitors, headed to the Renaissance Austin to see over 50 brands launch dozens of new products and enjoy Focus's trademark informal, friendly atmosphere.

Among the new products making their debuts at Focus Austin were: the MAC III AirFX luminaire and M2GO and M2PC consoles, launched by Martin Professional; along with the DLV Digital Light, and TechnoArc automated luminaire, both from High End Systems. A full report from PLASA Media will be available soon.

The professional development program was a major attraction with substantial audiences for sessions that ranged from "Demystifying Audio" to "Austin City Limits Live!"

CEO of PLASA, Matthew Griffiths, commented: "Exhibitors have been enthusing about the high quality of visitors and the rate of sales enquiries. With so many visitors coming out to support this landmark first event for the region, this has been a great opportunity to meet new people that don't ordinarily travel to larger trade shows."

Zoe Paine, of Rose Brand, noted: "I made a point of asking each visitor I spoke to if they attend other shows and 85% to 90% of them I would not have met, had I not been here."

Rich Dale, of Apollo Design Technology, added: "It's nice that everyone is on a level playing field in regards to booth size because it allows everyone to present their products in the best light possible."

Warren Cunningham, of CommuniLux, stated: "We're trying to develop our regional rental market and this regional show is perfect for us."

Jeremy Levin, of GAM Products, enthused: "This is glorious! It's really nice to have conversations with people."

Brad Schiller, of High End Systems, concluded: "It's been very busy and we're very, very happy."

Organizers PLASA Events confirm that a substantial number of exhibitors have already signed up for the next PLASA Focus regional event, which will take place in Nashville on July 11 and 12, 2012. Free registration opens soon at the URL below.
