INFiLED Launches in Brazil

Orlando Custodio

LED screen manufacturer INFiLED has launched operations in Brazil. In a statement, the company says, "The move consolidates the brand's presence in one of Latin America's most strategic and mature LED markets, reinforcing an international footprint already established in nearly 90 countries."

A new experience center in Sao Paulo, the largest city in Latin America, will open its doors in March. Located at Vila Leopoldina, one of the city's main creative hubs for AV, technology, and innovation, the space is conceived as a hub for integration, experimentation, and creative development, allowing clients, partners, and AV professionals to experience, in an immersive way, the full potential of the INFiLED portfolio.

The new operation is led by Orlando Custodio, CEO of INFiLED Brasil. Custodio is a veteran of the LED industry in Latin America, having formerly led one of the largest LED operations in Brazil and delivered some of its most impressive projects, including supplying more than 6,000 sq. m. of LED to Brazil's ubiquitous Ipiranga petrol stations. More recently, he supplied the broadcast studio of Grupo Globo's TV show Selecao SportTV, having previously delivered displays for TV Globo and NBC for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.

"With the Brazilian LED market at an advanced stage of maturity, INFiLED's arrival in the country represents a new level in technological sophistication," says Custodio, commenting on the opening of the Experience Center. "What currently concerns the industry is the aggressive low-price strategy adopted by some competitors. Inevitably, quality suffers -- with potentially disastrous results. This is not our strategy.

"With our state-of-the-art products, a well-structured local operation, continuous technical support, and a deep understanding of the dynamics of the creative, advertising, and audiovisual markets, INFiLED is looking forward to showing the Brazilian market how its top-tier display solutions and world-class customer experience set it apart from the crowd."

Eddie Guo, founder and CEO of INFiLED, adds, "The opening of the experience center in Brazil clearly represents more than an expansion of our operations -- it reflects our belief that proximity matters. By having a local presence with local team members, we can better support our clients, respond faster to their needs, and continue expanding our project portfolio across the region. This move allows us to grow our presence in a highly dynamic market while staying closer to our clients."
