The Neutrik ultimatePLUG is a two-pole right angle .25" professional phone plug with gold plated contacts to ensure superior signal transmission. Like Neutrik's timbrePLUG, the ultimatePLUG provides the ability to change the timbre of one's guitar sound from a neutral, clear tone to a warm sound in four steps by simply turning a knob on the plug. The characteristic sound of a guitar is influenced, to a certain extent, by the connected instrument cable due to the natural electrical properties of the cable.
