AV Stumpfl to Present Extended Line of PIXERA Media Servers and Projection Screen Systems at PL+S 2019

AV Stumpfl, the Austrian AV technology manufacturer, will present their latest products and solutions at Prolight + Sound 2019 (April 2 -5, 2019, Frankfurt am Main), including PIXERA mini, a flexible and ultra-compact version of its new powerful range of media servers, as well as their PIXERA v1.0 software, and the upcoming AT64-SHIFT screen system leg.

PIXERA is a 64-bit system for real-time media processing, compositing, and management, built around the key theme of usability.

A radical new interface logic enables even first-time users to intuitively understand the main software mechanics.

With PIXERA, AV Stumpfl combines one of the most powerful render engines in media server history with a new pioneering interface approach, the company says.

Some of the highlights of PIXERA include:

1. Extremely user-friendly GUI

2. Seamless integration of 2D and 3D spaces for fast show programming, compositing and warping/projection mapping.

3. Integrated projector and LED display databases for drag and drop pre-configuration

4. Flexible and powerful API that allows external applications to build on PIXERA features

5. Supports NDI streaming

6. Powerful render engine for ultra-high resolution content

The flexibility of the PIXERA API will be demonstrated during the Prolight+Sound exhibition by showing the integration of Panasonic GeoPro, an advanced system for black level compensation that is part of Panasonic's latest generation of high-performance projectors.

In addition to the new PIXERA software, AV Stumpfl will also present their new PIXERA one and PIXERA two media server systems and the upcoming PIXERA mini.

The new media server models are compact all-around solutions that use the latest processor technology and offer many à la carte options for specifying hardware components, input cards, and/or software upgrades.

PIXERA one and PIXERA two both support the new FLEX input card technology.

PIXERA one is a compact 1U server model that can play back uncompressed 4K at 60fps. With a depth of only 45cm, the award-winning PIXERA one is well suited for installation environments. PIXERA one is with two or four outputs.

PIXERA two is a 2U server model that is similar to the PIXERA one in many ways but offers more customization options and a redundant power supply. PIXERA two is available with two, four, or eight outputs.

PIXERA mini is a flexible and ultra-compact media player unit, well suited for digital signage and small to large multi-display applications. It will be available with two or four outputs.

AV Stumpfl will also give Prolight+Sound visitors a system preview of the upcoming AT64-SHIFT screen system leg.

AV Stumpfl GmbH CEO Fabian Stumpfl comments on the significance of the AT64-SHIFT: "A great number of our customers quickly adopted the T32-SHIFT after it became available in 2018. At the same time as this system's success grew, many of the same customers requested a solution that would accommodate the use of large mobile projection screens. With the AT64-SHIFT, we are now able to present another groundbreaking system that is both highly innovative and robust. It can save our customers precious time due to its ease of use and will be available later this year."

Based on the same principles as the T32-SHIFT, the AT64-SHIFT can be used for much larger mobile projection screens.

The T32-SHIFT projection screen leg makes it possible for just one person to easily adjust a mobile projection screen's height, without having to disassemble it first.

No extra measuring is needed to ensure that the frame is level, due to a clearly marked height scale.

The T32-SHIFT is compatible with AV Stumpfl's Monoblox32 and MonoClip32 projection screen frames, which means it can easily be combined with existing AV Stumpfl screen systems, the company says.

Using the T32-SHIFT, it takes less than five minutes to assemble and adjust an AV Stumpfl mobile projection screen system, including height adjustments.

AV Stumpfl GmbH will exhibit at the Prolight+Sound Show in Frankfurt at booth Hall 4.0- A34, Messe Frankfurt, Germany.
