Hoist UK Achieves UKAS Accreditation to OHSAS 180001

Hoist UK announces that they have now been UKAS accredited against the provisions of OSHAS 18001: Occupational Health and Safety Management. The OSHAS 18001 accreditation adds to their ISO9001: Quality Management and ISO14001: Environmental Management accreditation obtained previously.

Hoist UK director, Tony Dickson says, "Achieving the ISO9001, ISO14001, and OHSAS18001 is a major milestone in our overall business strategy and reflects the responsibility that Hoist UK's management team and employees have always taken to ensure that we look after our customers, employees, and our business at all times in providing safe value for money products, with an emphasis on health and safety....Achieving this accreditation perfectly captures Hoist UK's core values of safety, excellence, respect, and commitment and is embedded within every aspect of our business."

Louise Dickson, general manager of Hoist UK says: "The latest accreditation was achieved from months of hard work by all of the Hoist UK team, updating and improving our quality management and, environmental systems and then integrating the new occupational health management system into the system as a whole, which was then externally audited NQA, who are a UKAS accredited certification body, ensuring that our systems operate to the very highest standard and fully meets the requirements of the standard."

These accreditations recognize Hoist UK's commitment to an integrated management system covering QHSE for both its employees and customers, the company says.
