Spectrum Productions Invests in Barco Projectors

Spectrum Productions' new Barco HDX-W20 FLEX projectors

Spectrum Productions, an Atlanta, Georgia-based national production company, has recently expanded its inventory of Barco HDX series projectors. The newest additions are the HDX-W20 FLEX projectors. These units feature the light-on-demand option. With FLEX, the user can fully tune the light output of the projector to their event: it can be programmed to a light output of 10,000 to 20,000 lumens in 2,000 increment steps. The company says this gives the flexibility to offer customers the light output they want.

Greg Gardner, president of Spectrum Productions was looking to meet customer demand for high-brightness, high-quality projectors. "We have been using HDX for a number of years now, and have always been impressed with the image quality and the rugged reliability," stated Gardner. "We looked at all of the major manufacturers, and found that as in the past, Barco has the best combination of performance, usability, and value."

These units will be used for rental inventory and production of company events. The HDX-W20 FLEX projectors complement the company's inventory of Barco projectors and TLD lenses. They are the perfect match for Spectrum Productions' UltraWide screens ranging from 12' x 36' to 15' x 100'.
