LumenRadio's Tiny CRMXchip Standard in Astera's SpotMax

LumenRadio announces that their new tiny innovation, the CRMXchip, is now fitted as standard in Astera's latest product, SpotMax, and their forthcoming products. The cooperation between LumenRadio and Astera got off to a flying start when SpotMax was launched during the recent Prolight + Sound show in Frankfurt.

The company says LumenRadio's CRMX technology is increasingly becoming a standard feature in professional fixtures; thanks to the cognitive coexistence technology and performance under the harsh conditions found in many show environments. Hanan Yariv, technical director at Astera explains, "We were very honored to be one of LumenRadio's launch partners for the CRMXchip. LumenRadio and their CRMX technology have an outstanding reputation when it comes to reliability and performance and their features are truly state-of-the-art that are unmatched in the industry."

"When developing the SpotMax fixture we required the most reliable wireless link on the market. With LumenRadio's Cognitive Coexistence we found exactly that! The CRMX technology always delivers a flawless wireless link, something that our previous wireless solution was unable to deliver."

Based just outside Frankfurt, Germany, Astera is a manufacturer of battery-powered, wireless LED fixtures and long-life LED lighting solutions in wireless event lighting and architectural project lighting.

VP entertainment at LumenRadio, Peter Kirkup adds, "The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot but we have managed to achieve the impossible. With the CRMXchip, we deliver a reliable and high quality product and we were still able to prioritize cost. The CRMXchip is truly a revolutionary product!"

The launch of the SpotMax is just the first of Astera's products to feature the new technology, which will be fitted throughout the Astera product range in the coming months.
