Leprous 2025 Tour Delivers Striking Visuals with Lighting by Bandit LitesNorwegian prog-metal band Leprous recently toured North America with a lighting design by Sindre Hansen and production support from Bandit Lites. Tour and production manager Vincent Bezault brought Hansen and Bandit together for this run. "I feel that the communication and the whole process was very positive and professional from start to finish," says Hansen. "Andrew Ellis offered great service and good solutions, sewing my suggestions into a practical kit that both me and the rest of the crew/band was happy with." The lighting package was prepped and demoed at Bandit's facility, where Hansen was provided with detailed photos and videos of the full floor package ahead of time. "This made it predictable, which meant fewer worries about size, footprint, and setup -- and it made the programming easier," he explains. The touring rig featured a compact but powerful setup, including: four Tyler Truss 5s; four GLP JDC1 LED Strobes; eight Martin MAC Ones; eight ADJ Jolt Bar FX 2s; one GrandMA3 Lite Console; one front-of-house support rack. The precise timing and speed of the Martin MAC One fixtures played a key role in Hansen's design, particularly during one of his favorite moments in the show: a halftime section in "Like a Sunken Ship." "Here, all moving lights go from one side to the other in a small amount of time," he shares. "In that look, I love having the precise, fast, and narrow Martin MAC Ones, which did their part flawlessly on this tour."
