Artistic Licence to Deliver "Networking for Roadies Seminar" at LDI 2011

Wayne Howell

Wayne Howell, founder of the UK-based firm Artistic Licence, has accepted an invitation to speak at the LDI Show in Orlando, Florida, as part of the Innovation and Technology Conference. (LDI takes place October 28-30, in Orlando, Florida.) The training session, to be held at 10am on October 30 (Room S319), will be based on Howell's expertise in the use of Ethernet TCP/IP for the lighting industry.

Covering essential information on the "hows and whys" of Cat 5E and Cat 6 cables, which are becoming increasingly prevalent in the entertainment technology sector, the seminar is targeted to any designer, technician, or electrician interested in keeping up with the state of the art.

Howell is the author of the handbook Rock Solid Ethernet and has participated for many years in the ESTA (now known as PLASA) technical standards program.

The forthcoming seminar will form part of the PLASA Technical Standards Updates series. The talks are free to LDI full conference badge holders and all PLASA members.
