ACT Lighting Names Aaron Hubbard to Central Regional Sales and Establishes Northeast Regional Sales

ACT Lighting, Inc. announces that Aaron Hubbard will move to the post of central regional sales from his current role in western regional sales. The company, a leading importer and distributor of lighting products, will also establish a new northeast regional sales territory to better manage customer demand for its growing product line.

"Aaron is Milwaukee born and bred and the bulk of his production industry experience has been in the Midwest, so he has a strong foundation in the Central region," notes Brian Dowd, vice president of sales and marketing at ACT Lighting. "We will be filling the vacancy in western regional sales shortly, but in the meantime Aaron and the ACT sales team will still service the needs of all of our customers in the western territory."

Hubbard notes that, "This business isn't about selling widgets but building relationships. I've made many great connections and new friendships in the western region and will be active with those customers for the foreseeable future. I'm also looking forward to establishing new relationships in the Central region and returning to my family roots in the area."

The Eastern Regional Sales territory will now be split into two parts. A new hire for northeast regional sales will be announced soon while Doug Mekanik will continue to head eastern regional sales from his base in Richmond, Virginia.

"The customer base throughout the Eastern territory has grown significantly over the past four years," says Mekanik. "We need extra support for the New York market so establishing Northeast Regional Sales out of metro New York will allow quick response for customers in the area. I will continue to work closely with the Northeast territory to ensure the smooth transition of existing business and to help pursue new opportunities."
