Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Nominations Announced The nominations are in for the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle, honoring achievement in the city's professional theatre scene in 2022. The nominations are fairly broad, although lighting designer Ken Booth received two nominations, for Animal Farm and Metamorphoses, both at the theatre company A Noise Within. Also, costume designer Wendall C. Carmichael took too nods, for Blues for an Alabama Sky at Mark Taper Forum and Lavender Men at Skylight Theatre. Multiple show nominees included Animal Farm with five, Moulin Rouge! The Musical with four, The Lehman Trilogy with three, 2:22 - A Ghost Story with two, Blues for an Alabama Sky with two, and Metamorphoses with two. There are two de facto winners, each being the only nominee in the category: Luke Halls for the video design of The Lehman Trilogy and Tony Valdés for the wig and makeup design of Animal Farm.
