Avolites, accompanied by Avolites Media, will be exhibiting at PLASA Focus: Leeds on stand RA-B10 to offer visitors a selection of lighting and video solutions. On show will be the Sapphire Touch with a preview of Titan Version 6 as well as Avolites Media's introduction of the Sapphire Media control surface and Ai Infinity Server.

The Sapphire Touch, Avolites stage lighting control console, integrates Avolites comprehensive Titan V6 operating system as well as offering dual touch screen monitors for an enhanced workflow. Designed for large-scale arena tours, the Sapphire Touch has been developed for efficient and smooth automated playback operation with the introduction of 45 motorized faders and tricolor optical trackball functionality and delivers a unique Saturn ring, giving X, Y, Z axis to ensure simultaneous control. This new console from Avolites Ltd. also contains multi-language operation for all major worldwide productions.

To compliment the increasing Titan range, the new Titan V6 Operating System will be available for preview at the show. Titan V6 not only offers support of Titan-Net distributed DMX but also new features. Assignable global and individual rate masters enable over-ride of BPM and times, auto-legend for colors, gobos and video clips, and hand draw into your pixel mapper with Avo quicksketch or display imported JPEGs or text. Advanced theatrical features offer move in dark, block cues, and this cue only functions. The new graphical patch view offers fast, clear, and intuitive analysis of the consoles patched fixtures.

In addition, Avolites Media will show the Sapphire Media. Designed and manufactured in the UK, Sapphire Media offers video operators intuitive, live hands-on show control surface enabling seamless integration of all visual elements. The Sapphire Media control surface connects to Ai Media servers and highlights include two generous, wide screen, touch surfaces for easy access to the user interface and salvation engine control. Additionally, four switchable and assignable, touch preview monitors are available to the system operator. These preview monitors may be mapped to any inputs, outputs, or video layers. It also offers 15 motorized faders for live control, mappable to content triggers, effects or parameters. There is also a smooth T-bar provided for traditional vision mixing, and direct access buttons, pre-assigned to popular features and functions. All controls may be user configured to produce fully customized functionality.

According to the company the Ai Infinity follows the AiS-T media server, representing the next step in media server technology. The unit contains an incredible eight full HD outputs. Conveniently, each DVI output has an accompanying preview output. The Ai Infinity also includes internal EDID management, LTC, and MIDI time-code, Genloc input, multi-server frame-sync and master-slave remote control. Avolites extensive touring experience leads to the highest quality of components, contained in the custom anti-vibration and anti-shock internal floating frame. The other benefit is the front panel mounted touch screen enabling local control, system analysis, and remote preview.
