KV2 Audio Makes FILO Conference Debut to Showcase the Future of Sound in Houses of Worship

FILO Conference invites church technical artists from across the US and beyond to connect with peers in a relaxed, professional environment while interacting with AVL equipment in hands-on sessions.

At Willow Creek Community Church in South Barrington, Illinois, KV2 Audio will make its first appearance at the FILO Conference. Held in the 350,000 sq.-ft. worship campus, the two-day event brings together church technical artists, practitioners, and production professionals for a collaborative opportunity to develop skills and discover solutions that drive more effective worship experiences.

Founded by megachurch technical artist, Todd Elliot, in 2014, FILO (First In Last Out) is a non-profit organization with the mission of equipping and encouraging technical artists in the houses of worship sector with the expertise needed to create impactful worship spaces. Elliot, along with other FILO faculty, will gather at Willow Creek Community Church to deliver sessions, seminars, and technical discussions exploring how technology plays a vital role in communicating the messages within houses of worship all over the world.

With both in-person and livestream attendance options, FILO Conference invites church technical artists from across the US and beyond to connect with peers in a relaxed, professional environment while interacting with AVL equipment in hands-on sessions. At this year's event, KV2 Audio will make its FILO debut with a dedicated demo to showcase its tailored solutions for live sound clarity and transparency, qualities highly valued by church production professionals.

During the demo, KV2's US team, headed by newly appointed sales representative Max Clixby, will demonstrate products from across its loudspeaker portfolio, with models from the EX and ESR series specifically designed for house of worship installations. The ESD Cube system is designed for superior vocal reproduction, housed in a compact aluminium enclosure that offers a discreet solution for visually sensitive installations while maintaining outstanding performance and clarity. Also featured will be the EX28 active loudspeaker system, built on the success of the EX26 to deliver excellent intelligibility and wide sound distribution. The setup will also include three distinct system configurations: the ESR106 paired with two EX1.8 units, the ES1.0 combined with two ES2.6s, and the ESR215 matched with four VHD2.18J subwoofers.

"All of the systems we are showcasing are prime examples of KV2's suitability to house of worship applications," says Max Clixby. "KV2 Audio has a long history of supporting this sector, with our systems being chosen time and again for their speech intelligibility and long-term reliability." From Anchor Point Church in the UK, the Church of San Miguel in Spain, to Tongyeong Juklin Church in South Korea, and City Church Seattle in the US, KV2 is widely recognized within the church production industry. "Our solutions help to enhance the worship experience by delivering messages clearly to every member of the congregation, regardless of the venue size. It is a true testament to KV2's own mission of delivering The Future of Sound. Made Perfectly Clear."

The FILO Conference comes just over a month before the KV2 US team will return for InfoComm, in Las Vegas. Here, KV2 will take part in its next major US exhibition, providing another valuable opportunity for technical professionals -- particularly those working in houses of worship -- to connect with the team, explore the latest systems in detail, and gain expert insight into the performance and applications of KV2's point-source solutions. "InfoComm is an incredible opportunity for us to strengthen relationships with our customers working across worship environments," adds Clixby. "We're excited to showcase what KV2 has to offer -- there will be a great deal for visitors to experience and discover at this year's show."

FILO Conference will take place through May 5-6, at Willow Creek Community Church in South Barrington, Illinois.
