Chroma-Q's Color Force II Wins Two Awards at LDI2016

Chroma-Q's newly released Color Force II was honored with awards from Live Design for "Best Debuting Conventional Product" and the Entertainment and Services Technology Association (ESTA) for "Members Product Choice Equipment Award" at a cocktail reception at LDI in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Saturday, October 22nd.

The Color Force II was recently launched into the US market after its UK introduction, where it was highly commended in the PLASA Innovation Awards. At LDI, the luminaire received accolades for showing "a stunning face and elegant color mixing both as a smooth surface wash and as a clean visual look," according to the LDI selection committee.

"We're honored by the recognition from the industry," said John Fuller, global brand manager for Chroma-Q." This is a great endorsement of the hard work and innovative effort that our technical team have put into developing the Color Force II and it reinforces all of the positive feedback we've had from designers who have seen the product."

The Color Force II is an incredibly powerful batten available in 12", 48", and 72" and can wash a 12m/39' cyc. Born of Chroma-Qs original Color Force batten, Color Force II features extremely smooth, uniform output, homogenized color mixing and theatrical-grade dimming, all using Chroma-Q's award-winning technology.

Since 1988, Live Design International has been the largest trade show and conference for live design professionals in the Americas. LDI hosts over 12,000 attendees working in theatre, concerts, clubs, theme parks, and houses of worship.

ESTA, the Entertainment Services and Technology Association, is a non-profit trade association based in North America with members around the world. ESTA's members are responsible for creating some of the most important programs in the industry including the Technical Standards Program, Entertainment Technician Certification Program, and Rental Guard.

Chroma-Q is distributed in North America by A.C. Lighting.
