IA Stage Announces the Addition of Six Technical Leaders IA Stage has announced the addition of six professionals to its growing team: Courtney Nichols, ETCP CR T; Kris Jelenic; Mariana Mendonca; Matthew Ross, PE; Mitchell Cholley; and Steve Bognar. Nichols joins IA Stage with an extensive background across Cirque du Soleil, Spiegelworld, EPS, and Point Wright Rigging. She brings experience in installation leadership, show operations, and acrobatic/theatrical rigging. Her ETCP certification underscores her commitment to safety and technical excellence. With more than two decades of experience spanning Cirque du Soleil, Walt Disney World, broadcast environments, and live entertainment, Jelenic brings versatility in rigging, carpentry, lighting, audio, and special effects. Mendonca is a new addition to the IA Stage design and drafting department. She has a background working with numerous prominent clients of IA Stages, and she approaches projects from a client-centric perspective. With her combined interest in mechanical engineering and themed design, she intends to bring a fresh approach to IA Stage's design deliverables. Ross joins IA Stage with 13 years of structural engineering experience spanning themed entertainment and specialty structures. His background in threshold inspections and code compliance ensures IA Stage's engineered systems meet the highest standards of safety, reliability, and long term performance. Cholley brings a strong mechanical engineering foundation shaped by roles at Entertainment Project Services and Extreme Engineering. His experience includes ASTM F24 ride development and multimillion dollar project management. Bognar's background includes automation and rigging roles at EPS and The Chicago Flyhouse, where he supported inspections, FAT processes, VFD programming, and the installation of control systems across theatres, arenas, cruise ships, and specialty venues.
