d&b audiotechnik Expands Installation Systems at InfoComm 2015At InfoComm 2015, d&b audiotechnik introduced two further additions to the company's new generation amplifier family. The eagerly anticipated 10D and 30D amplifiers are specifically designed to drive permanent solutions. Offering a new price to performance the amplifiers are set to become keystones in the future of fixed pro audio installations. The new installation amplifiers were on display at the d&b booth alongside the new Y-Series loudspeakers and the new D20 amplifier, which was launched at Prolight + Sound in Frankfurt, Germany in April. Visitors were able to experience the real world functionality of the 10D and 30D as part of the d&b Workflow which integrates the d&b ArrayCalc simulation software, including the latest ArrayProcessing feature, the d&b R1 Remote control software, and d&b amplifiers. "The feedback we have received about the new installation amplifiers has been overwhelmingly positive," noted Amnon. "That's great news as we renew our focus on providing permanent d&b solutions, with a product portfolio that meets the integrator's every need. With competitive cost to performance, the four channel 10D and 30D amplifiers will benefit users wherever high quality sound, reliability, usability, and flexibility is expected." The d&b demo room hosted several sessions each day and guided interested participants through the practical advantages of the d&b Workflow. The well-attended sessions also highlighted the new amplifiers, offered listening demonstrations, and presented an installation solution comprising Yi, xC, and xS-Series loudspeakers in ArrayCalc and R1.
