Alcons Audio Brings Pro-Ribbon Solutions to InfoComm 2025

Visit Alcons Audio at InfoComm 2025, Booth #7345 and Demo Room W231A.

Alcons Audio is set to attend InfoComm 2025, taking place June 11-13 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.

Alcons will showcase the latest developments in its Pro-Ribbon Experience, as well as introduce new products designed to advance professional sound reinforcement.

"At the heart of every Alcons system lies their globally patented pro-ribbon transducer technology," the company says, "delivering reference-quality sound from the studio to live events. With the promise of "One Reference - One Experience," artists and producers can trust that their creative intent is faithfully reproduced across every listening environment, ensuring a consistent, true-to-source audio experience.

"Thanks to these qualities, Alcons pro-ribbon solutions are increasingly specified by entertainment venues, movie theaters, houses of worship, recording studios, educational institutions, high-end home theaters, and live event rental houses throughout the US."

Located in Demo Room W231A at the Orange County Convention Center, Alcons will offer hour-long demonstrations of the Pro-Ribbon Experience, showing how their systems deliver audio quality and intelligibility at all sound pressure levels (SPLs), with maximum gain before feedback.

Among the new products on display will be the GR20 point-source monitor -- the first release in the new G-series of pro-ribbon solutions. The GR20 bridges the gap between compact point-source monitors and larger array solutions, offering an intuitive sound reinforcement option before the need for multi-cabinet arrays.

Just before the show, Alcons announced the Director6, their latest high-performance amplified loudspeaker controller, purpose-built to maximize the potential of pro-ribbon systems in fixed and semi-permanent installations. The Director6 features an eight-channel DSP engine combined with eight advanced Class-D amplifier stages, delivering 6kW of audiophile-grade power with flexible powering configurations.

Also featured will be the MR5 mini reference monitor, part of the upcoming M-Series; The company's entry into precision studio monitoring with an uncompromising design philosophy. This ultra-compact 2-way nearfield monitor offers exceptional transient response, pinpoint imaging, and remarkable dynamic capability, challenging expectations for its size.

Additional demos will include Alcons' full range of solutions: Q-series line-source columns, L-series line arrays, V-series monitors, C-series pro-cinema systems, CRMS immersive reference systems, B-series subwoofers, and Sentinel amplified loudspeaker controllers.

For a glimpse of the future of professional sound reinforcement, visit Alcons at Booth #7345 and demo room W231A.
