Eagle Production Boosts Rental Stock with 120 Elation SOL I Blinders Eagle Production Company, based in Wall Township, New Jersey, has expanded its rapidly growing rental inventory with the purchase of 120 Elation SOL I Blinder luminaires, marking another significant investment in high-output, rider-friendly lighting technology, the company says. The acquisition follows Eagle's earlier purchase of 100 Elation PARAGON LED profile moving heads. The SOL I Blinder, with its tiny form factor, IP65 weather protection, and modern aesthetic, brings a powerful feature set to Eagle's inventory. Its modular design allows designers to link units into custom configurations for creative staging, while multiple lenses, accessory options, and an optional Bowens mount adaptor ring give designers versatility. Powered by a 250W RGB+Lime+Amber+White LED engine with a 93+ CRI, the SOL I delivers bright, high-fidelity whites and a full spectrum of rich color, producing over 8,000 lumens with 16-bit CCT control from 2,400K to 8,500K. Shaya Adler, founder and CEO of Eagle Production Company, explains why the SOL I emerged as the choice for their expanding lighting fleet. "We were looking for an ultra-powerful, bright, IP65-rated single-cell blinder that offered a lot of color options. The SOL I outperformed everything else we looked at as far as output, color engine, and flexibility," he says, adding that another key in the decision to purchase was their valued relationship with the Elation team. "This year alone, we've made several upgrades with them, including the PARAGON fixtures, and this was a natural next step." Adler notes that the SOL I fixture's ability to adapt to a range of needs made it a standout choice. "The more we can do with a fixture, the more applications it can serve," he says. "SOL I gives us a ton of flexibility, which is exactly what our clients need." Eagle's inventory regularly supports major clients and events, including presidential campaigns, UFC and MMA events, global tours such as Billie Eilish, and organizations like Disney and the New York Rangers. Their new SOL units will primarily support the touring and concert markets, including EDM shows, festivals, and other high-demand live events, and have already been out on their first projects. In addition to the SOL I and PARAGON investments, Eagle has also added its first ONYX lighting control console, the Obsidian NX2, further strengthening its rental offerings. Eagle, now three years into its strategic pivot toward dry-hire rental, says it has seen growing demand for flexible, rider-friendly lighting solutions.
