Moo TV took home its fourth Parnelli Award as Video Company of the Year, January 17, at The NAMM Show for its work in 2019 with long time client Garth Brooks. The Parnelli's, live event industry's highest honor, has long been considered "the Oscars of the live event industry." The evening was made even more special when Garth Brooks made a surprise appearance.

The prestigious award honors Moo TV's work with Brooks' Stadium Tour, one of the highest grossing concert tours of last year, selling out stadiums and setting records across the country. The competition was stiff as its work went up against that of Carrie Underwood, Eric Clapton, and Thomas Rhett, among others. The major tour was just one of many to which Moo TV supplied their high-quality LED video screens, camera packages, and the experienced technicians to operate them. Other major tours included Jason Aldean, Chris Stapleton, Dierks Bentley, and Brad Paisley, plus high-profile events like the Country Music Association CMA Fest and the NFL's Tennessee Titans. The Parnelli Awards winner is determined by the readers of the live event trade magazines PLSN and FOH.

"Garth has been with us for many years, and that he continues to partner with Moo TV says a lot about our work and his relationship with us," says executive VP and GM Jason Rittenberry. "He's meticulous and deeply involved with everything to do with his tours, especially video. He holds everyone to a high standard, but that just makes him that much better to work for."

Moo TV is based in Nashville and was launched in 1993 by founder and CEO Scott Scovill. It is a video and live events production company offering live video-production for concerts, touring, special events, and corporate events. Moo is the nine-time Pollstar Video Company of the Year, 2018 Nashville Business Journal Business of the Year, and reigning Parnelli Award winner for Video Production Company of the Year.

Since 2001, hundreds of the live event industry's highest achievers and most admired innovators have received a Parnelli Award. The 19th Annual Gala took place in Anaheim, as part of The NAMM Show. Michael Strickland of Bandit Lites, who Moo TV has partnered with on many a tour, received the Parnelli Visionary Award. Brooks showed up in person to honor him, surprising most but not all in the audience. "I wasn't surprised at all," Rittenberry commented. "Garth is a humble, gracious artist who is loyal to those who have become part of his family. But having him there in person definitely added to the fun of winning the award."
