ARRI Inc. Hires Chris Russo as Technical Sales Manager Camera Products, Western Region

Chris Russo, ARRI, Inc.

ARRI Inc. welcomes Chris Russo as technical sales manager camera products, western region for the Americas. In her new role Russo will be responsible for sales of ARRI camera products including ALEXA, AMIRA, and pro camera accessories. She will also evaluate market and technology requirements for existing and potential ARRI camera equipment in the North American Market. Russo will operate as a vital link to Munich's research and development teams in regard to product performance in the field, improvement, user requests, and competitive gear.

Says Bill Russell, ARRI Inc.'s vice president of camera products: "Chris is a great addition to the ARRI camera sales team. She has experience, confidence, and a solid reputation in the market. I look forward to working closely with her." Russo comes to ARRI with a decade of experience as account manager for film and television at Kodak. More recently, she worked as a post-production supervisor on independent features using a variety of digital cameras. This rich background involved advising producers, directors, cinematographers, and studio executives on image quality, efficient workflows, and cost-effective production/post strategies.

Says Russo, who will operate out of ARRI Inc.'s Burbank office: "It's a great honor to join ARRI. I'm excited to work for a company that continually sets the bar for excellence in the film industry. I look forward to being a part of rolling out the next generation of amazing, innovative cinema cameras." Russo is an ASC associate member, along with a Film Independent Fellow in Screenwriting and Directing. She holds a bachelor's in photography from the University of Buffalo NY and MFA in Visual Studies from Visual Studies Workshop in Rochester, New York.
