PLASA Show 2015 Makes Last Call For Free Visitor Registration

August 31 is the last day that visitors can pre-register for free entry to PLASA Show 2015, the UK's premier business event for the live entertainment technology industry.

August 31 is the last day that visitors can pre-register for free entry to PLASA Show 2015, the UK's premier business event for the live entertainment technology industry. International pre-registrations are at their highest level since the show moved to ExCel in 2013, with registrations coming from more than 90 countries so far. Visitors who haven't already registered are urged to take advantage of the last few days of the free registration period.

PLASA Show 2015 takes place at London's ExCel from October 4 - 6. From September 1 to October 3, visitors can pre-register for £10, meaning doing so before the end of the free period can make a significant saving. On site entry will cost £25.

"The show will feature over 300 brands, covering all production disciplines, with many showing new products and services," says PLASA's director of events Chris Toulmin. "A major new initiative for this year is a sector-specific, zoned layout, which will make navigation around the show much easier than in previous years. With areas dedicated to lighting, audio and AV, broadcast and staging, manufacturers, dealers, and service providers in each sector can be quickly located by visitors."

Once again bringing global experts together to share their insight and experience, the renowned PLASA Professional Development Program also features a similarly zoned theme, with separate stages hosting sessions by over 150 speakers throughout the show's three days.

With three sessions from audio production power house Britannia Row, a further session from the Institute of Professional Sound (IPS), sessions that look at audio as art and color changing lights, to safety -- both electrical and aural -- and the importance of apprenticeships, three demo sessions from Adobe and a keynote presentation from Pixar Animation Studios, there is a huge variety of topics suitable for everyone, from the most experienced practitioners through to those just starting in the industry, making PLASA Show's seminars an unrivalled, free educational resource.

The PLASA Rigging Conference 2015 will also be held in ExCel's North Hall Gallery Rooms on Monday, October 5. Comprising topical sessions led by leading industry figures, the day-long conference offers a unique opportunity for the rigging community to share industry knowledge and network.

"There's something for everyone at this year's show," says Toulmin. "Registering before September 1 means that all of this valuable content, as well as exceptional networking opportunities, can be enjoyed at no cost."
